Duract

Duract

Duract is a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug for short term management of acute pain. This drug should be taken 10 days or less. Long term use of Duract has led to reports of severe liver failure and several cases of rare severe hepatitis. Despite the efforts of the FDA and the drug company Wyeth-Agerst of strengthening the warnings and special packaging, there was continued reports of severe injuries and death from long term use. The FDA and the company concluded that it would not be practical to put in place the restrictions necessary for the safe use of the drug. Since other drugs were available which performed the dame function at less risk, Duract was withdrawn from the market. If you or a loved one had been harmed by the drug Duract you may want to contact a New York City Duract attorney for more information.
