A deposition is testimony given under oath that is recorded for use in court at a later date. Depositions or "examinations before trial" are also a part of discovery process. During your deposition the attorney or attorneys for the defendant(s) will ask you questions about the facts and circumstances pertaining to your accident. A court reporter will be there to record your testimony.
